This year, as part of the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union of Canada (CEP) National Women's Conference, a rally will be held on Parliament Hill, in Ottawa. Everyone is invited to join this rally and already more than 500 persons are expected to attend. 

This will be an opportunity to honor the memory of the 14 women who died in the École Polytechnique massacre on December 6, 1989, as well as to voice our opposition to weakening Canada's gun control law.

A rose ceremony and guest speakers including Suzanne Laplante-Edward, mother of one of the victim and Coalition for Gun Control President Wendy Cukier.
