This year, CLC Ontario Region's Winter School will be held at Kempenfelt Conference Centre, 3722 Fairway Road, Innisfil, ON  L9S 1A5.  (Telephone: 1-705-722-8080).  This weeklong school will run from Sunday, February 26 to Friday, March 2, 2012.

Courses Offered: Advanced Workplace Insurance Claim Strategies, Building Pension Activism, Collective Bargaining, Facing Management, Instructor Training, Labour Law - Private and Public, Labour Community Advocate, Occupational Health & Safety - Level 1, Transforming Conflict, Young Workers in Action.

Registration:

Registration will take place from 2:00 to 5:00 pm on Sunday.  You must register at the CLC Registration Desk as well as check in at the Centre's reception.

Registration fees include accommodation, meals, course and material.  Download the registration form here.  The shared accommodation (double occupancy) fee is $950, single accommodation (single occupancy) fee is $1,250, and single accommodation with spouse fee is $1,575.  The registration fee with no accommodation is $500 (includes meals).

Childcare is available for children 12 and under.  Extra cost for children 12 - 16 years of age is $135 and for children over 16 is $325. Deadline for childcare application is February 12, 2012.

Cancellations: If for any reason a participant is unable to attend, please inform our office in writing by email: ontario@clc-ctc.ca or by fax: 416-441-4073 no later than two weeks prior to the start of the course.  After February 12, 2012, cancellations will result in a $200 cancellation charge.
