Canada is under the International spotlight again for violating worker and trade union rights. This year’s 2010 annual survey by the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC) accuses a number of Canadian provinces of imposing restrictions on workers from organising or striking. It says our conservative government has announced budgetary measures to circumvent negotiated salary agreements in the public sector.
