The CLC offers its condolences and support to the workers of Japan.

Dear Brother Nobuaki,

We are monitoring the news about the biggest earthquake to hit Japan in
140 years and the resulting tsunami.

We are astonished by their magnitude and can only imagine the devastation they
represent for members and friends of RENGO, as well as Japanese people, in
general.

Please know that the CLC and the entire Canadian trade union movement
sympathizes with you over the plight of workers in Japan today.

I personally hope that the staff of RENGO, especially along the east coast,
manage to escape any damage to their person or property.
