Canada's Temporary Foreign Worker Program has many of the tell tale signs of forced labour. Migrant workers too often find themselves in positions of indentured servitude by unscrupulous employers or oppressed and exploited by labour brokers. The CLC has called on the government to examine the link between forced labour as defined in the International Labour Convention 105 and the manner in which the TFW program operates.
