On March 9, the House of Commons passed the generic drug Bill C-393 to help developing countries. Now, the Canadian Senate must do the same for it to become the law. The Bill will reform Canada’s Access to Medicines Regime (CAMR) and facilitate the distribution of patented medicine that could save the lives of those living with HIV/AIDS.
The CLC calls on Senators from all political parties to vote for Bill C-393. With each passing day, more lives are lost. Please contact members of the Senate to ask them to support Bill C-393.
