I am sending a heart-felt thanks to everyone who answered the CLC's urgent appeal last week, sending letters via our web site to Prime Minister Harper and Labour Minister Lisa Raitt, and sending your stories for the Official Opposition NDP to use in their work in support of postal workers' collective bargaining rights.

You contributed to thousands of emails to the Prime Minister stating that it was not okay to bring in back-to-work legislation in Canada Post's lockout of their workers. The proper role for the government was to tell its own Crown Corporation to get back to the bargaining table and negotiate a fair collective agreement.
